Challenge of the Decades is off and running

In athletics important lessons involve dedication, challenge and commitment. Athletes learn to work hard, give one hundred percent, dream big and play to win. From those lessons comes the Challenge of the Decades. To achieve a goal it is best to break it down. Better yet, create some fun competition at the same time.  We have adopted a great community and school district to raise our family. I am just beginning to fully understand the amazing commitment people have to this community and the number of outstanding alumni.

Maintenance Endowment Goal

The Decades and Community Challenge fund raising goals total over $1,000,000. and exceed the $900,800. construction budget for an important reason. Once the construction goal is reached, additional funds will be placed in an Endowment for the long term care of the Complex. All too often proper maintenance is forgotten. The Hunt Family of Great Plains Communications in Blair, NE not only made the $50,000. Challenge to the Community, Non-Alumni but have also pledged an additional $25,000. to the Endowment once the construction budget is achieved. To the Hunt Family we can only say, “Ponca thanks you. We love a Challenge.”
